On my way to a casting... Bonne journée!

**Update: Just a word about the casting. So, it was for a fashion project called "HANDIFASHION". This project was created by an association "Assexybilité" (here an interview of Charly the president) and fashion students from Aix-en-Provence. They are organizing a fashion show with - both valid and with disabilities - amateur models , to prove that fashion is for everyone! The casting results will be in about 10 days, I'll let you know more about the project then...

Fave NYC outfit.

Our first week in NY was so hot and sunny that I think I wore this skirt every other day... I can't get enough of that mustard colour and of those flying swallows print.

Pistol day and night

None of these are affordable for me, but if I was in a city with quite some money, this is how I would dress right now... If I had to keep one thing, it would be the Acne Pistol boots. They are perfect, not too high, cowboyish enough but not too much and just as rock'n'roll!

Atlas breeze.

Here's the dress. I got it from Wolf & Gipsy, my favorite vintage shop in Brighton. As I said, it is made of a brilliant thick cotton, that keep you warm and cool at the same time. I can perfectly imagine wearing it in the summer evening breeze on the porch of le Cabanon, listening to the crickets and the leaves' murmur...

I rarely plan my outfits in advance, but yesterday evening, speaking of The Magnificent Seven I felt inspired by Mexican customs. I especially like the uncommon look of Frida Kahlo.

Magnificent One

I've always been swinging between the "girly-girl" and the "tomboy". As a child, my favorite film was The Magnificent Seven. My tomboy side dreamt of wild rides on the Mexican frontier, but my girly-girl side was madly/deeply in love with Steve McQueen a.k.a Vin. Isn't he gorgeous in his pink shirt? Max and I watched a bit of the movie yesterday, and ahhh, my love is still intact...
