Lazy morning

I flew back to England yesterday.

Today is my last day of holidays, and it feels like a sunday. The weather is gorgeous and the house is quiet.

Being in Hungary was enriching but also tiring. My mother has 7 brothers and sisters, consequently, we are 35 grand children and now 37 grand-grand children. It's a lot of people to visit. And still, I didn't have enough time to see everyone. It is really frustrating because I love them all so much and see them so little. Between a visit and the next one, cousins get pregnant, babies are born, those babies become toddlers, toddlers become children, children become teenagers and so on...

I guess "c'est la vie!", it will always be like this, there is always someone you love who's far away...

All the Buildings in New York

I've just discovered this artist's blog via Blogger.

James Gulliver Hancock is a young Australian expat in Brooklyn, New York, who decided to draw all the buildings in New York.

I think it's a great challenge.

It made me think about a secret project Elena and I had in the Paris' tube...

Anyways, I'm going to check James' posts regularly, to feed my NYC dream...

"Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day..."

I love putting music on loud while I'm cooking. Usually, when I'm with Max (3), we listen to Bill Withers, it's a sort of ritual. So when the second song started, he said "That's our song!", I confirmed and asked what was the title, he naturally answered "Just the two of us!"... (He is singing along right now!) That's what I love with children, everyday something new :)
Today, the weather is awful, stuck inside we have to cheer ourselves up, so we listen to "our song" and we're going to make some pancakes...
